Magical Night

This is a holiday-themed illustration inspired by fairytales. This piece is to invite people into an imaginative world filled with joy and hope and free from worries or sadness like in childhood.

The concept started with some curves. I saw Mary Blair's drawing of the Cinderella godmother turning a pumpkin into a carriage. I used the path of the glittering magic dust.

And the final color palette was inspired by the Emerald City of Oz.
